Click the NEW ARTWORKS button above to view the new artworks page. Works from Nellie Marks, Fabrianne Peterson, Gwenda Turner, Debra Young and more. Includes works from Athena Granites who has only just started painting with us this year.
Athena Granites is the granddaughter of late artist Alma Granites, who painted amazing depictions of the Seven Sisters Dreaming, the same story Athena has become known for in the last few years. Her use of acrylic pour to create her backgrounds coupled with an intricate minimal dotting style is fast becoming sought after by collectors worldwide thanks to the hard work of the artist as well as her community art centre, Warlukurlangu in Yuendumu (to the north east of Alice Springs).
FABRIANNE PETERSON AND HER NEW STYLE - YULTURRKUMPI
Fabrianne is the type of artist who is constantly thinking about her next artwork style. We have seen her grow over the last 10 years since we started working with her. Damper Seed was her signature style, and this was all the galleries and studios wanted from her. She asked us one day recently if she could show us a new style and story, Yulurrkumpi is the result. Click the red button above to be redirected to her 91cm x 61cm depiction of the Honey Grevillea (Yulturrkumpi), which is a sweet honey flavoured nectar that is eaten directly from the flowers of Honey Grevillea.
Her Damper Seed has evolved into a multi coloured depiction of her signature style and will be loaded to our website in the coming days. Stay tuned…
